Terms

Last updated November 3, 2026

These terms cover your use of versi, an essay editor and coach at getversi.com. By continuing past the sign-in page, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

Who can use versi

You must be at least 13. If you're under 18, please go over these terms with a parent or guardian. You can invite a parent to follow your progress, and they won't see your essays unless you share them.

Your work stays yours

You own what you write. You let us store and process it so we can run versi for you, including the settings below.

What's on by default

These start on when you set up your account. You can turn any of them off in settings at any time, and we keep a record of each change.

• AI feedback. Your essay text goes to an AI service to generate notes.
• A person reading your essays. Our team can open your essays and leave comments. Each time they do, it's logged.
• Recording calls. Calls with our team can be recorded to make notes.
• Example library. Your drafts can be kept as examples for other students.

Text messages are separate. They only start after you add your number and reply YES, and you can text STOP anytime. Message rates may apply.

Using versi honestly

• What you submit to a school has to be your own work, and it's up to you to follow each school's rules, including any rules on AI.
• Examples and suggestions are references, not guarantees. Don't copy them into your essay.
• Keep your account to yourself, and don't try to break, overload or scrape the service.

No promises about admissions

We can't promise that anyone gets in anywhere. AI feedback and coaching can be wrong, so use your judgment.

The service

versi is in beta, so features will change and things may break. It's provided as is, to the extent the law allows. Please keep your own copies of anything important.

Stopping

You can download your data or delete your account in settings at any time. We can remove access if someone misuses the service.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll ask you to agree again before you continue.
